Call for Proposals
The ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ Edge Symposium seeks proposals from faculty and staff who are passionate about advancing student success through ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ Edge practices. The symposium welcomes faculty, staff, and student attendees and invites hands-on workshops that highlight innovative approaches, foster collaboration, and showcase resources that enrich the student's experience. To align with the symposium’s goals, proposals might include the following types of sessions and must be structured as an engaging hands-on workshop:
Interactive Showcase of ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ Edge Integration
Participatory sessions for students, faculty, and staff that highlight effective Edge strategies through hands-on activities, facilitated discussion, or live demonstrations focused on student academic, personal, and professional growth.
Co-Creating Best Practices for Edge Experiences
- In-Class and Co-Curricular Applications
Interactive workshops where participants collaboratively design or refine Edge-integrated practices within courses, programs, offices, units, student organizations, or leadership experiences.
- Practical Strategies for Student Success
Applied sessions that engage students, faculty, and staff in practicing strategies that build skills, increase engagement, and support career and post-graduation readiness.
Collaboration and Networking Sessions
- Student-Faculty Collaborative Success Stories
Interactive sessions highlighting initiatives in which students and faculty work as partners to co-create knowledge, design programs, and advance student success across departments and disciplines. Sessions should include space for dialogue, reflection, and shared problem-solving.
- Interdisciplinary Roundtables and Dialogue-Based Sessions
Facilitated discussions that foster networking and idea exchange among students, faculty, and staff, with an emphasis on student–faculty partnerships that strengthen student engagement, academic support, and cross-disciplinary learning.
Interactive Student Services and Resource Sessions
- Exploring Student Support Resources Together
Engaging sessions that help participants navigate campus resources through interactive activities, case examples, or guided exploration.
- Workshops and Q&A Clinics
Interactive clinics where student services representatives engage directly with students, faculty, and staff to address questions and identify effective support pathways.
Proposals across these areas will contribute to a rich and engaging symposium, offering attendees practical strategies, collaborative networking, and actionable insights that support ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ’s commitment to holistic student success.
Submission Details:
- Deadline for Submissions: Friday, March 6, 2026, 11:59 pm MST
- Session Format: Interactive workshop style
- Audience: This year our audience will include faculty, staff, and students.
- Session Duration: 25 to 55-minute sessions are welcome
- Delivery Options: In-person or HyFlex
- We will review all submissions and notify applicants of our decision by March 23, 2026.
